“Wonder Woman” Dropped by NBC

Just as excitement was building for a superhero fall season, it seems “Wonder Woman” didn’t have what it took to make it.

According to a report, the NBC network ended up rejecting Adrienne Palicki's pilot due to lukewarm response from test audiences.

Apparently, the “Friday Night Lights” babe’s costume was the subject of much debate and in the end, the show wasn’t strong enough to garner an approval.

There’s no word on if NBC is willing to re-tweak the idea or if “Wonder Woman” may find a home elsewhere.

Oh, I look at that lasso and it takes me right back to being a kid, looking for rope so I could lasso people and make them tell the truth- LOL. Here’s the new Wonder Woman, Adrienne Palicki, along with a body double who looks like her identical twin, I swear.

This must be one of THE most highly anticipated pilots this season, so I can’t imagine it won’t air next fall. Are you looking forward to a new Wonder Woman? Is the new costume growing on you any? They had to make some changes, but I kinda prefer the black tights of the comic myself.

Adrianne Palicki Scores “Wonder Woman” Gig

Her success just keeps growing, and now Adrienne Palicki has been selected to star in the new “Wonder Woman” television show.

The “Friday Night Lights” hottie scored the role for the new NBC pilot, reprising the part once played by Lynda Carter.

In the show, Adrienne Palicki will play the DC Comic character Diane Prince, who fights crime while also maintaining a career as a corporate executive.


In related news, Adrianne will be appearing on the silver screen in the upcoming remake of “Red Dawn.”
