Snake Charmer

Snake, known as the Chinese little dragon. Is always the token of wisdom, youth and authority from the ancient days. In Greek Roman time, golden snake-shaped bracelet was usually the element of jewellery and decoration. Rigid crutches for ancient emperors are frequently engraved of snake, symbolizing the long-lasting youth and eternal life. Bulgari inoculated with the ideal literature of Greek Roman legend, integrates the meaning of snake into the design of jewels and wristwatches, presenting the art masterpieces exquisite beyond compare.

Then

Bulgari, first launched the Serpenti wristwatches making from golden K in the later period of 1940. The delicate head of snake looks authentic and the tail enchased with diamonds. The handcraft of its body encircles layer by layer with flexing extension in piped design. Only the goldsmith with experienced craftwork can invent such unique work.

The original collection became famous by none other than miss Cleopatra herself: Elizabeth Taylor, who wore this Bulgari watch while filming in Rome.

Now

Just as snakes magically rejuvenate, so did Bulgari, who brought sssssexy back this fall with a rebirth of their Serpenti.

Loads of celebs are wearing the Serpenti wristwatch.

Charlize Theron, was spotted wearing the latest version of the Serpenti wrist bracelet last year.

& Here’s Chloe Sevigny sporting a vintage Bulgari snake wristwatch.

Bulgari’s take on the snake for 2009 is strictly limited-edition and big-time joaillerie. I bought this pink gold Serpenti watch set with diamonds, onyx & black mother of pearl. But unfortunately it hasn’t arrived yet from Italy! Caaan’t wait any longer! >.<
