With hubby and our girls away down south visiting their Nana and Pa, I have the house to myself. I should despatch our dog Jet to the other grandparents as she is not letting me have any sleeps-ins! Sure enough, before the clock strikes 7 am, she's making little grunting sounds and doing circles around the bedroom to get me to wake up. She is of course demanding that I take her for her morning constitutional - her chance to frolic in the long dew-laden grass. I cannot believe that she is not in holiday mode with me! It's so unfair!
