1 Colorful Shadows - The most vivid example of spring's happy mood: The candy-colored eye make up. In heaviest rotation were shades of violet, turquoise, orange and mint green, in a range from pastel to electric. But none should be intense that'll appear clownish.

Trick of the Trend: Bright shades on its own can be loud, so make up artist ground it w black mascara & a thin stripe of black liner on the lid.

2 Orange-Red Lips - I realized on most of the runway shows, this season's red lips contained a healthy dose of orange. Whether matte or shiny, the shade was usually paired w little more mascara & a bit of foundation.

3 Swirled Updos - The prettiest Updos were also the least complicated: Stylist simply gathered the hair, wrapped it into a gentle twits and pinned it in. (It's meant to look like the bun is somewhat falling out.)

4 Braids - Not since Cher in the 70's have thick braids looked so cool. At some shows the look was overly done. In others, the look was sweeter, w the braid placed high on the head.

6 Muted Shadow - Dusty colors offer a more delicate way to do smokey eyes.

7 Mauve Lips - Personally this is my fav, spring's pink lips! Shades of mauve look sensual when paired w bedroom eyes or when the color has super glossy finish.

Trick of the Trend: A matte mauve lipstick can look chalky, so go w a creamy or shiny formula, or try a gloss.

8 Head Dressers - At some shows, and by shows I mean TV shows. *ggls* yes you heard me. & I am sure y'all know what show am talking about -- "Gossip Girl". Anyhowww, the accessories in the hair outnumbered those on the body. Combs, barrettes, and headbands were piled on - all were striking. This season at the runway shows, Chanel each model came down the runway w a different accessory. Which I think is super sexy!
