Making of a Bon Voyage

Purpose: Holiday

Weather Report: Cold

Packing:    I always stick to the basics, when it comes to packing my suitcase. Or it'll quickly bulk up. That includes color. Black, brown, & cream are my fav. I start with a great turtleneck, always cashmere, because it's the warmest and least bulky. Think layers, such as tank tops & silky camisoles. See when you travel during winter, you'll need to wear camisoles under your fashionable clothes. Cause them alone aren't enough to warm you up. I'll need jeans, especially pull on's -- in other words jeggings I LUV the person who created em. If you are reading this, thank you for making our lives much easier *ggls*. What I love most about wearing em is that it's SO comfy, I don't have to worry about bouncing around town & feeling uncomfortable in my jeans. I also love patterns, I'm so into Missoni. A light dress is okay, I guess? Depending on the coat. Otherwise going with wool or other heavier fabric in a sexy silhouette. Also hosiery, but never  skin colored. Almost forgot belts, one or two to cinch in bulky sweaters or dresses at the waist.

And a wrap that can double as a scarf & a shawl. As well as a  sexy fur jacket or vest, glams up any outfit. If there is room I pack two one dressy and one more casual (Personally, I always go for a cream coat over a black because it looks more exciting & richer.) Hats are a MUST! (a snood, a newboy, a beanie cap, a floppy wool beret, anything that folds away), gloves, and even sunglasses (to stave off the blinding sunlight bouncing of the snow.)What did I miss?^^ This is no time to over look shoes either. I know that I should go for comfortable yet chic pair of walking shoes. But I can't just leave my loubies behind... Thoughts?

XOXO
