Blumarine delivered a animal print heavy Spring/Summer 2011 collection at Milan Fashion Week.
“I wanted to offer liberty to women,” said Anna Molinari before her show referencing the collection’s mostly voluminous, light and fluid Seventies silhouettes in silk jersey, crêpe and chiffon. The key trend was animal prints in all colours: from pastel brights to neutral browns. The overall look was sexy and strong; skinny bootleg pants, second-skin sheath dresses, and boho-chic minidresses. These clothes are clearly destined for beaches, resorts, yachts, and nightclubs.
Paired with accessories like long strap bags and statement jewelry to die for: an abundance of colourful enamel bracelets, rings and pendant necklaces featuring zodiac symbols.

I wouldn't suggest to buy an entire Blumarine look (could be a bit over the top), but one playfull piece can brighten up that spring wardrobe and is definitely worth the investment!
