Stella McCartney, the daughter of Beatle Paul McCartney, succeeded grandly to solidify her own name as a talented designer independent from the fame of her father.
After working as the chief designer at Chloé, McCartney started her signature line in 2001.
All the elements she's known for were in her ready-to-wear collection for this Spring too.
McCartney's kind of slouchy, slightly oversize tailoring has caught on in a major way: The longer boyfriend jacket with the strong shoulder and the pushed-up sleeve that she showed today over little cocktail dresses or with cropped pants has become a big trend.
