I just adored Emily Blunt in The Devil Wears Prada. Her character whas quintessentially English but her attitude was pure New Yorker. The world of magazine publishing is extremely competitive and there was never a doubt in my mind that Emily would succeed at Runway magazine. I adored how she never gave Anne Hathaway's character Andy an ounce of sympathy.

The theme of the shoot was tres fairy princess. How divine it must have been for Miss Blunt to slip into these incredible pieces of wearable art. It seems that couture is alive and well, even in these gloomy economic times.

It is a delight to see these gowns shown off with such sophistication and just a hint of humour too. The scenes in this editorial are so over the rainbow - pure fantasy for us mere mortals!

I'm sure Miss Blunt was exhausted too by the end of her shoot. I wonder if she was "gifted" any of these heavenly creations. You know, one of the perks of the industry. I guess we'll never know...
