NEW YEAR RESOLUTIONS

I’m starting my 2011 resolutions early this year. No more New Year’s Day panic decisions for me. On the list is learning a foreign language, seeing more of the world and taking up cooking classes, but what I’ve given most thought to are my fashion resolutions. I need to shake it up!

Here’s what I’ve decided to do a little differently next year…

 

START MY FASHION ARCHIVE

I simply love Alexander McQueen clothes. I plan on wearing and keeping hold of them for years to come.  


EMBRACE COLOR!

 

As someone pointed out, I do rather like wearing black. Next season that’s going to change. I’m taking baby steps and teaming these Brian Atwood pumps with a black shirt dress. 

TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT…

It’s so easy to fall into a style rut and wear the same outfit day in, day out. I’m going to give playsuits a go, followed by track pants and heels à la Alexander Wang. Not at the same time.

INVEST, INVEST, INVEST!

2011 is going to be about investing in style classics that chic up entire outfits. Buying my Christian Louboutin shoes was a high point in my 2010 shopping calendar and I plan on making this Victoria Beckham crocodile bag my treat for 2011.
