She’s been on a constant rise to the top of the hip hop world, and Nicki Minaj made history earlier today (October 22).

Miss Minaj was named #6 on MTV News’ Hottest MCs in the Game list, marking the first time ever a female rapper appeared on the chart.

Coming up this Sunday, Nicki will be discussing her accomplishment with Sway on MTV’s “RapFixLive.”
Minaj reacted, "I feel that it's a dope accomplishment to be a woman on the list. There has never been a woman on the list. Of course, that makes me feel proud. But I believe that I am a dope MC in the big scheme of things, period. Like, if you put 10 girls in a row, I'm not only going to stand out with them; I'm going to stand out if you put nine boys in a row and just put me somewhere in the middle."
