The 93-year-old actress - who was given her last rites at her own request – has reportedly declined surgery suggested by the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles and has returned to her Bel Air house.
Medics had wanted to perform liver surgery but it only offered her a 50-50 chance of survival. So she declined it. Her husband said:
“The doctors did everything they could do. The rest is up to her to whether she recovers or not.”He also reported she had been in and out of consciousness and barely able to talk. Publicist John Blanchette added:
“She had a great run. She’s 93. She knew five presidents. She knew kings and queens, celebrities.”She lived a wonderful life, but this is so sad to hear. It's Zsa Zsa! Hopefully she spends the rest of her days surrounded by loved ones. (imnotobsessed)
