The Best Dressed of The Golden Globes 2011

Black begone! This year the red carpet came alive with color — emerald green (a favorite of the evening), feminine pinks, festive metallics and sultry reds. Red-carpet veterans, Armani, Versace, Calvin Klein and Lanvin, delivered gorgeous gowns for deserving ladies, while a few sartorial surprises took my breath away. An expectant Angelina Jolie opted for Versace in of-the-moment emerald green, Leighton Meester had a leg o' mutton moment in Burberry Prorsum, and Anne Hathaway showed off a bold-shouldered Giorgio Armani Privé. Un Jour Dans Ma Vie: 24 Hours in D-town

9:25 A.M. Breakfast I have my toffee nut latte in hand so that's a good start!

10:17 A.M. Client Meeting At the office, jammed with meetings all morning. 


12:45 P.M. Rolling to D-mall (As we Dubaians or "I" name it! *ggls*.) Dubai Mall is one of my fave spots for shopping, while I’m in town. There's nothing your looking for, you won't find. 



1:02 P.M. Playing Catch-Up With some friends for Lunch at Armani Caffè.

3:20 P.M. Retail Therapy   At the Fashion Avenue, there is always something new in stores. Plus I can never get bored of shopping.


6:35 P.M. Zen Moment With my yoga instructor. "Yoga is 99% practice and 1% theory", she says. An hour and a half later dinner is served, along with my daily routine of TV shows. (By the way, what's your latest favorite TV show?)^^

RZ: Bittersweet Appearance on 'Gossip Girl'

Rachel Zoe is appearing on Monday's Gossip Girl, and today I have a preview of her cameo. Am not sure how RZ got to this point, with her Emilio Pucci gown and Alexis Bittar jewelry soaked in delicious chocolate sauce, so we'll have to watch the episode (also featuring Cynthia Rowley) to find out. Sorry, Rachel, we're pretty sure Decades Two doesn't accept fondue-dipped goods. LOL xD...

The models, from left, are Hannelore Knuts, Jane Schmitt, Tati Collitar, and Natasha Poly—all shot by David Sims, and looking like quite the fine bunch of ladies. And with full Lanvin drama, the one-shoulder puff dresses, ruffled LBDs, textured trenches, and tuxedo tops.— We still have to wait until November for the full collection. OMG—or should I say "Oh Mon Dieu"?—the trailer for Season 4 of Gossip Girl is here. If you're like me and can’t wait for more Gossip Girl; then I've got a treat for you: A peek at Serena and Blair's exploits in Paris and new photos from the first episodes of season four! From the Eiffel Tower to museums to outdoor cafes, it looks like S and B do it up right (with a few new gentleman suitors among the way). Oh, and there's some Chuck Bass eye candy in there too, but watch out: he's got a new lady love on his arm. Meanwhile, Dan is back stateside babysitting and Nate is getting a taste of the Chuck Bass life. There is no denying the influence that US series Mad Men made on the likes of Giles, Marc Jacobs for Louis Vuitton and Prada. Betty Draper-inspired 1950's femininity was palpable in the wasp waist, circle skirts and bouncy ponytails. I love food. I like shopping for it, preparing it, serving it, and eating it. Most of all I love to bake and that's what I've been up to lately. I decided to go back to Sprinkles Cupcakes recipe, reminiscing about L.A. and wishing I was there as the background scenes of The Rachel Zoe Project teleport me mentally there ASAP please…*ggls* -Well what can I say?
