Time To Get Away

Winding up for at least one more getaway, before winter ends. Truth be told, my mind has mostly moved on from winter attire to focus on the upcoming spring trends.—PFW is just right around the corner—along with what to pack.

However, there is no denying that the current climate in many places still requires that you bundle up…especially if you are on your way to a chilly destination! As the temperatures in the Northern Hemisphere decline, my winter picks is increasing by the hour! Obviously, I cannot imagine keeping my fashionable findings all to myself, so I compiled them here to share with you dolls.  Interested? Take a peek.

One Step Wonder

Un Jour Dans Ma Vie: 24 Hours in D-town

A typical day pour moi à Dubaï

9:25 A.M. Breakfast I have my toffee nut latte in hand so that's a good start!

10:17 A.M. Client Meeting At the office, jammed with meetings all morning. 


12:45 P.M. Rolling to D-mall (As we Dubaians or "I" name it! *ggls*.) Dubai Mall is one of my fave spots for shopping, while I’m in town. There's nothing your looking for, you won't find. 



1:02 P.M. Playing Catch-Up With some friends for Lunch at Armani Caffè.

3:20 P.M. Retail Therapy   At the Fashion Avenue, there is always something new in stores. Plus I can never get bored of shopping.


6:35 P.M. Zen Moment With my yoga instructor. "Yoga is 99% practice and 1% theory", she says. An hour and a half later dinner is served, along with my daily routine of TV shows. (By the way, what's your latest favorite TV show?)^^

Stay in a Fantasy World

We all know the fashion house Moschino and their three lines; Moschino, Moschino Love and Moschino Cheap and Chic.





But did you know they had a new and beautiful hotel in which you can stay in? The Maison Moschino had it's formal opening in February of this year. In case your planning on popping over to Milan anytime soon, I'm going to show you some of their unusual and fantastical room and suite designs along with other images of the hotel. 

A maison styled by Moschino, where the real world is decorated with a touch of surrealism. The hotel is divided into four floors consisting of 63 rooms and 2 junior suites, as well as restaurants, bars, spa and fitness center. 

The entrance at Maison Moschino, is filled by Moschino basic lampshade dress, this time really act as a lamp *ggls* 

Rooms themed like...

 sleeping in a ballgown,

a tree-branch four-poster bed,

the dessert room (for the curvy girls with a sweet tooth),

 ...and my personal fave is the Zzz room that I think is rather amusing.

“Mos kit” is an innovative way to serve breakfast. It comes in a precious box that humorously reminds you of an elegant shoe box. Now how cute is that? Doesn't it look delicious?!

I absolutely love the interaction between architecture and fashion which resonates deeply, and looks ah-maz-ing in the entire hotel. Offering guests the opportunity to experience an alternative life, a world made up for the offer that was built by fairy-tale chic that’s always been characterized its collections.
