Issa and Net-a-Porter Launch a Capsule Collection

When Kate Middleton announced her engagement in a sapphire Issa frock, the small London-based label became the hottest tag on the market. This April, Net-a-Porter is giving shoppers the royal treatment with an Issa cocktail capsule collection stocked with dresses that "can be worn from the beach to the office and then onto the red carpet," according to designer Daniella Helayel. If you're a fan of Middleton's navy palette, expect a short, lace-sleeved number in the same hue. Otherwise, opt for Helayel's India-inspired jewel tones and flirty silhouettes. If you can't hold out for the capsule collection, check out the kaleidoscopic Issa designs available at Net-a-Porter now!

Prada's Barrette-Bedecked Pony

Fall Trend to Try Now:

I loved the lock look at Prada’s fall 2011 show. Hairstylist Guido anchored the 1960s Catherine Deneuve-inspired ponytails with a simple, silver Goody barrette.

For a “very girly, very young, innocent sophistication,” he explained. Key styling product: Redken Forceful 23 Super Strength Finishing Spray (AED 58) for lots of texture and hold.

Fashionable Caviar... Mais Oui!

Caviar shows up at fashion events almost as often as Harley Viera-Newton. So it makes sense that Caviar Kaspia would get a designer involved. For spring, Giambattista Valli was enlisted to enliven the luxe Paris restaurant's jar with a ring of his signature black pearls. A 30-gram tin of the ultrachic snack is AED 293.

Spring Accessories Fix with Net-a-Porter!

Now that April is upon us, I'm casting the finishing touches to set off my spring look, and Net-a-Porter has some new items today that caught my eye. Vitamin C with Stella McCartney's citrus-print clutch, a stylish comfort with Lanvin's metal-accent flat sandals, or a bit of Coachella-ready bohemian charm with a multicolored Jil Sander scarf

Keira Knightley Gets Moto-Chic for Chanel

Just because an actress picks up a modeling contract, that doesn't mean she has to quit her day job. Check out Keira Knightley take on "Chanel's Superwoman" in this short film teaser shot by Atonement director Joe Wright. Two words: beige catsuit.

Candice Swanepoel Dominates the Runway at PFW

Sure, Miranda Kerr walked the runway again at Balenciaga and Adriana Lima was seen in Givenchy's lineup, but the award for best Victoria's Secret model-to-Paris Fashion Week transition would have to go to Candice Swanepoel. In her first Fashion Week appearance since the Fall 2008 season, she rocked Stop Making Sense shoulders at Stella McCartney and Ghost World specs for Givenchy, got red-faced and avant-garde at Viktor & Rolf, and looked fetching in pink python for Christian Dior. She also hit Isabel Marant this week. What's next for the VS beauty — a luxury campaign, perhaps?

Schoolgirl Crush

Fendi

Antonio Marras

Prada

If you've ever declared "No more pencils, no more books, no more teachers' dirty looks," you may want to take a look backward for fall. Prada, Fendi and Antonio Marras all went to the head of the class with schoolgirl-chic looks in Milan. Fendi veered closer to the schoolmarm side of things with a high-necked, ruffled blouse  very "Marian the Librarian strolls the via Montenapoleone". Antonio Marras showed fresh, innocent looks like a striped cardigan-pleated skirt combo, while Miuccia Prada interpreted "coed" in her typical '70s-influenced style, with windowpane checks and quirky kilts.

Spotted at Milan Fashion Week Fall 2011

The Blonde Salad's Chiara Ferragni makes her floral skirt and bright red bag pop.

Animal print looks subtle in a muted color and a volume-packed silhouette.

Street style favorite Anna Dello Russo isn't afraid to pile on the runway hits, from her Balenciaga jacket to her Prada lace-ups and Bottega Veneta bag.

'70s chic lives on in a neutral maxiskirt and earthy wedges.

Nothing makes a statement like a bright, oversized envelope clutch.

The bright skirt is eye-catching, sure, but the exaggerated cat-eye sunglasses and open-toed boots are even more daring.

Snejana Onopka has model-off-duty style down pat, from the tortoiseshell sunnies to the skinny gray jeans.

Model Karmen Pedaru knows the power of a statement fur.

Anna Dello Russo hits another one out of the park in her Miu Miu jacket and eye-catching neon dress.

Jourdan Dunn's leather shorts are the perfect intersection of youthful and edgy.

Post-Gucci, Caroline Brasch Nielsen and Jefimija Jokic accessorize their smoldering show makeup with a teeny Alexander Wang bag and a strapping Balenciaga tote.

Street style photographer Mr. Newton now turns his lens on the chic women at Milan Fashion Week.

Mary Katrantzou A/W 2011: Fabergé Beauty

Greek designer Mary Katrantzou has a knack for taking inspiration from home design and turning it into fashion. I loved her creative interior design-inspired prints for spring, so I was excited to see what she had up her sleeve for fall. Turns out, she was inspired by Fabergé eggs, Coromandel screens and fine china this time around, and she combined the somewhat unlikely motifs into a stunning collection.
