Uma Thurman Thinks R-Patz Will be a 'Serious Actor'

It might be tough for the
Twilight stars to transition into careers not revolved aroung good looks and vampires, but
Uma Thurman feels confident
Robert Pattinson can make the switch. She gushed about the heartthrob actor in a recent interview with
MTV.
"He's extremely dashing, like an old-world movie star," says Thurman, who costars with the actor in
Bel Ami. "He's incredibly concrete in his presence... and is obviously very handsome."
He's got the good looks, but is he a man of talent? Uma seems to think so.
"I think, he's going to be a really serious actor," says Thurman, 40, "He's a really good actor."
We'll be rooting for him in the next stage of his career.
