She certainly was enjoyable to watch in “Sherlock Holmes,” but Rachel McAdams is unsure if she’ll be returning to the second one.

Sitting down with MTV News, “The Time Travelers Wife” star told, “It’s kind of all still in the process. They’re still doing script work, and we’ll see.”


“If I do, it won’t be a very big part,” she added. “It’s not a lead part.”

The Guy Ritchie-directed flick, which stars Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr, is set to hit theaters December 16, 2011.

Of this, Rachel says, "I don't think so, although I guess everyone says that, right? I like to be surprised by people, and I find that makes life a lot easier too, when you just accept what's coming your way.”
