Kate Gosselin's Kentucky Derby Weekend

Immersing herself in the happenings taking place around the Churchill Downs venue, Kate Gosselin made her way to Louisville, Kentucky for the 2011 Kentucky Derby.

The TLC reality star kicked off her Friday (May 6) with a visit to the Style Icon 2011 Luxury Gifting Suite at the Galt House Hotel & Suites Grand Ballroom - where she proceeded to try on an array of fabulous hats before deciding on a lucky winner to top her noggin on race day.

Once finished up, Miss Gosselin swapped into a sparkly frock as she joined in on the popular 2011 Barnstable-Brown gala at the Barnstable-Brown House.

Also drawing out stars such as Marisa Miller, Maria Menounos and Miranda Lambert, the gala comes on every eve of the famous horse race.

This year's Derby is set to take place on Saturday (May 7) with post time being set for 6:24PM ET. With favorite Uncle Mo being a late scratch, current lines put Dialed In as the new top-odds horse at 9-2.

Treating herself to some yummy eats, Marisa Miller was spotted having dinner at Katsuya restaurant in Los Angeles last night (January 27).

Joined by her husband Griffin Guess, the Victoria’s Secret hottie looked fabulous in a black dress with beige heels.

And while she rules the runways of the world’s hottest fashion shows, Marisa Miller also has a penchant for riding motorcycles.


She explained, "My dad taught me how to ride. Being outside in nature is so freeing for me. And whenever I really focus on something – whether it's surfing, biking, or cooking – that's how I de-stress. But I also love the challenge. Riding my motorcycle builds my self-esteem and confidence."

Marisa Miller Generally Pleased With Butt

Marisa Miller is quite fond of her derriere. THG can tolerate it as well.

In the February issue of Shape, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model reveals that it wasn't always easy. She was given the nickname "bubble butt" in high school.

"We refused to do squats at volleyball practice because we didn't want them to get bigger," she tells the mag, which she's graced the cover of eight times.

Now? "I love my butt and want to make sure it stays where it is," she says. "Now all we want to do is lots of squats to keep our rear ends curvy and feeling strong."

That's not all the wife of Griffin Guess, a.k.a. the luckiest dude ever, does to keep her figure. She gets in the boxing ring for 90 minutes up to four times a week.

"I go to a down-and-dirty boxing gym," says Marisa Miller . "I don't want to worry about how I look or whether I’m wearing the perfect outfit. For me, it’s about focusing."

"I'm one of those people who likes to sweat," she says. "I've tried Pilates and yoga, but they're a little too meditative. I need to really go at it, and do it hard!"
